 Does what it says! November 10, 2008
I used the entire thing in my Lancer GT 08 (doors & trunk) Its just about enough since its not a really big car. Simply put, this product does exactly what it says! No more rattles, no vibrations, Clean Sound, Deep/Hard Hitting Bass.. even @ low volumes! According to me, atleast 60% of road noise is also blocked off! I still need to install the hoodliner.. no time!! Dynamat Xtreme seems heavy though, in the box, but once its installed.. no worries! & for the Price, I'd recommend anyone with a car to blindly get this!! cheers!
Great Sound Damping Product November 10, 2008
This is a great product for extraneous noise control in automotive applications. Just under two boxes covered a 2001 Mustang GT from the rear light panel in the trunk all the way to the dash/firewall, including both doors. Doors now have a solid (high end European car) sound when closing, and everyone who's ridden in the car can't believe how much quieter it is inside now. I'd say it cut the noise from the supercharged 4.6L with Flowmaster exhaust by at least half, and road noise is now all but non-existant.

I bought the bulk package to line the 4 doors of my 2007 Toyota Tundra DC since i was installing new speakers.
The product works as stated, easy to apply and reduced the door vibration as well. Road noise was reduced as well, I will be installing some under the carpet to silence more road noise.
Buy the bulk and save money, be sure to have a wooden roller and a heat gun. I did my on hot summer days and the mat was flexible and sticky but still need to be rolled into contour areas.

Works for more than just autos August 25, 2008
I used this video to quiet a steel enclosure for a CNC mill. The product works perfectly. The amount I bought was overkill, but I saved on shipping and actual product price. My plan is to contact local stereo installers to see if they want to buy my surplus. If not, there are a myriad of items in my home that need some damping :) Used a wallpaper seam roller which worked fine.
