Does not bond well October 23, 2008
The claim that Krylon Fusion bonds to the molecules of plastic seems to be bogus. It sticks, all right. But it will scrape right back off again.
I used Krylon Fusion to cover some plastic rain barrels to prevent sun-rot. I let the paint dry overnight. The next day, I lifted the barrel to turn over to spray the bottom. My belt buckle rubbed against the side of the barrel and scratched off a long strip of the paint. I was out of that color and had to makeshift with a different one.

Krylon paint "especially for plastic" is greatly over-rated and over-priced. It does not cover, does not adhere any better than any $1.00 can of spray paint. Big disappointment. Almost $40.00 down the drain.
