Product Description As your ride's exterior ages rubber plastic and vinyl exterior hardware of all colors will dry crack flake and deteriorate. This oxidation can be stopped and reversed with Mothers Back-to-Black our favorite auto-care concoction. This trim treatment is great for all sorts of exterior hardware in all colors-bumpers molding louvers window trim vents seals skirts door handles wiper arms-anything that's plastic rubber or vinyl. Apply Back-to-Black to sun-burnt plastic rubber and vinyl to revive the factory-new sheen then re-treat that exterior hardware regularly.

Works really well. May 17, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a good product. As another reviewer mentioned, ArmorAll does more harm than good to both interior and exterior auto trim and panels. I gave up on them. Mother's really brings back the shine and deep dark black colors to your cars trim. It is liquidy though, so I'd recommend a very fine soft brush or perhaps a Q-tip when applying it to the narrow strips by your doors or windows.

Did wonders for my grey panels on my Honda Element. Brought them back to new. And no streaking after wet weather.
Works great on grey too! June 27, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After searching a forum by others who experienced fading on their plastic cladding (siding) as I did, I came across several rave reviews for Back to Black. After I found out it can be used on all colors, I tried it out. Other people on the forum mentioned that Armorall (which I had used frequently) actually "burns" your plastic instead of protecting it. It appears a lot of people have made the same mistake as me. Before I knew this I had noticed that one side of my car seemed to be fading faster than the other, so I put a lot more Armorall on that side. Big mistake. Now there is a definite difference on one side of the car. I started using Mothers on the least faded side and didn't notice that much difference, but once I got around to the really faded side I was ecstatic. It took it from a dull pale grey to a deep shiny grey (as it had originally been). It only took one coat and even eliminated a lot of the stripping on one side were the gas station had dripped gas down the side. Both sides of the car are now the same color. Back to Black is actually a thin white liquid. It goes on easy and with not all that much elbow grease. I did my entire car and it looks brand new even though it's 8 years old. Follow the directions closely and make sure to refer to Mother's website forum if you have problems.
