These Mats Stink! (Literally) November 3, 2008
My ordering process was anything but ideal (deceptive product listing leading to an exchange, no receipt with item, poor customer service, product requiring modification because it was too large, etc.). Bad experience aside, I still wouldn't recommend these mats.
The mats (the first and second set of mats) smell horrible! They have a very strong odor comparable to burning plastic. I placed the mats in my car over a week ago and still have to leave my windows open to let the interior air out. I'm hoping the smell fades with time, but I'm not keeping my fingers crossed.
Do yourself a favor: Save some money, buy some mats at a local retailer, and avoid the stink!
