Good Protection, Good Price September 30, 2008
I purchased these to replace another more pricey brand of nitrile gloves, though I was skeptical that these could compare at the far better price. I have been pleasantly surprised.
I am sensitive to chemicals and use nitrile gloves for general household cleaning, including cleaning up after sick kids and pets. We recently purchased property and the previous owners left it littered with various farming and machinery chemicals and a seemingly endless number of old car batteries. These gloves have been very durable, feel comfy on, and I haven't had any reactions to the chemicals I'm handling since using these.
I also use these when my hands get dry. Just rub some lotion on, put the gloves on, and head off to bed. They really keep that moisture in overnight and if you have to get up and use the toilet you don't have to remove them. Just go and wash up as usual. You can't do that with those fabric gloves sold for this purpose.
I'm purchasing the small size for my children's contribution to cleaning up and I do recommend these to anybody interested in protecting their hands from the tortures of cleaning and general household chemical use. Make sure to keep a couple pairs stored in Ziplock baggies in your first aid kit, too.
Great addition to the home lab June 27, 2008
These are exactly what I used to get in the chemistry lab, but I'll bet they cost less on Amazon than what we paid at the lab. They are high quality gloves. I use them when dealing with toxic substances at home (solvents, et.) as well as in my reef tank (I put a little rubber band around my wrist when I'm using them underwater.)

I use this for working around the house, car, waxing skis, etc. Much better than latex.
