 Tailgate Lock December 31, 2008
As others have said, this was relatively easy to install. The only problem as the unit is shipped is that for my truck the supplied screw that goes through the tailgate to secure the Bully lock was not long enough. There is a plate inside my tailgate into which the screw needed to go and the screw was about 1/4" too short. I was able to obtain one at the local hardware but since it is metric I was not able to get stainless there.
I installed the lock when is was about 25 F. I was able to easily install the plastic trim piece by having it sitting in a bucket of warm water until installing it and it slipped right in without trouble.

I installed this in about 10 minutes. Just pop off the factory flange, take out one screw, hold the lock in place, secure with new screw (provided), and pop on the new flange. It comes with 2 keys that are almost like the GM keys.
It is a very simple, yet effective, design which means it should last a long time. I have only had mine a few months but I believe it will last the life of my truck.
HIGHLY Recommend!!!

This product takes less than five minutes to install and will prevent the tailgate being opened to permit the removal of the retaining screws for the tailights, thus reducing the chance of their theft.

I have a 2006 Sierra, and the Bully LH-003 is the perfect aftermarket lock for anyone who has a tonneau cover. Very easy installation and the instructions are straight forward. I had the "pop lock" before, and the "pop lock" is no where near as nice as the Bully.
I would also recommend buying some "locktite blue," to safely secure the screw that attaches to the lock.
